Hello,
I'm working on a site in which I included a subdirectory to the project. In this sub there are several images. I linked to that images in my DHE file (for this page I don't want them exported to the files directory). When I publish my project the images in the subdirectory are not uploaded. I made the subdirectory part of my project and I checked the box to recurse subdirectory's under the "Publish, options".
What do I forget? |

Is the sub-directory itself uploaded? |

At first I thought it was, but I used Filezilla for that. After deleting the subdirectory from the server I tested it with DHE. The subdirectory is not uploaded at all when I use "changed files". When I choose for all files, it is uploaded but not with all files in it. I even noticed I'm missing some images which are exported to the files directory with DHE. |

I found what went wrong, but I think this is an item for an update (if possible). In the window "Publish, Options" I excluded some directorys down in the field "Exclude files/folders". One of those directorys whas called "foto". In the DHE page I placed two images and gave one the ID "stapel_foto" the other the ID "fotografie". Both of these images where than excluded for upload as well. I checked it out and found that every file with the word "foto" in it as part of its name was excluded from upload. I hope I explained my problem clearly |

Yes, the filter acts on files and folders ;-) |

Acting on files and folders is fine, but it also filters on parts of names. P.E. I have a page called "fotografie.html" which has to be exported. I excluded a folder with images, called "foto". Now the filter is excluding the folder "foto" AND the file "fotografie.html". In my opinion it would be better if the filter was only acting on a complete filename with extension for files, and on a complete name for folders. |

I'm using this workaround now: Every folder which has to be excluded from export I place between square brackets like this [foto]. In the "exclude files/folders" I place a single bracket [. This way al my folders with brackets are filtered to be excluded. |
