Hello. I have bought this program version 3.1.90. Can somone give me some samples on a Photogallery? I take a lot of pictures an want to make a presentation on my web. I will have to use several categories (Birds, Nature, Landscapes, People....) The photos in each categorie are shown as tumbnails. When you click at a tumbnail, the photo is shown in larger size.
Can someone please show me some sites which has such gallery? Can I do all the work in Dynamic HTML Editor, or do I have to use a album function from others?
I look forward to hear from you.

Friendly

Creating a photo gallery with dhe isn't all that difficult.

I just made a quick example for you to show you that it can be done quit easily.
http://home.tiscali.nl/gggev/example1.html

The fake menu on the left doesn't work but something like that could point visitors of your site to the right part of the photo's you make.

If have also uploaded a dhe file for you to look at so you can see how it's done.

Especially of interest to you would be the way the mouse overs are made I think.

Open dhe and open the example1.dhe file. Now click on one of small recatngles >>thumbnail1/thumbnail2 and so on<< and in the properties panel click on the event button. This opens a new window that shows you how the mouse over part is made.

Also of interest is the fact that I have set the visibillity of RRect10, RRect11, RRect12 and RRect13 to False so these images won't show up immediately on the webpage. They only need to show themselves when someone mouses over one of the thumbnails.

Hope this helps.

Martin

Thank you very much for your example. I guess that this is a fine solution. I have to try a little bit. I am thinking of severel hundred photos so I will compare it with the possibility to use a album program as a importet file.

Thanks a lot.

We've also discussed using this at one time for photo-galleries.
