After you have finished creating your page, save the .dhe file (I don't know if that is technically required, but I like to have regular work save intervals just to be on the safe side), then press f12 - which will bring up an export dialog. Just fill in the dialog as required (and to your preference) then click the "export" button on the bottom of the form to export your .dhe file to html. After those values have been set, you can use "shift-F12" to do "fast export".
I agree, the help file is not that helpful. I want to know how to have some images ina files directory that are referenced by several pages. Dynamic HTML Editor seems to always save pictures as src='files/test1_picture1.png' test being the name of the file. This way you end up with loads of duplicate pictures files as its a navigation bar Im doing at www.biathle.co.uk any ideas how to automatically do it rather than find and replace in notepad?
As I've said in the mail you can do the follow: 1- create a menu.dhe file with your menu and include it in all of your pages; 2- in every image of your menu file fill the 'export name' field so Dynamic HTML Editor export the file with the name that you have chosen.
