No matter what I do all I get is an "error" with no explanation. I have verified all my settings for my host (BlueHost) and have no problems uploading files with FileZilla.

I'm new to the Editor and just trying to get a site up for a client to have a look at.

Appreciate any help.

check security software logs for alerts naming dhe

1]maybe try with security software off-- antivirus and firewall

2]make a rule for dhe as a trusted program

ChecMark,

as joneq said, check your Windows firewall settings; probably the program has been blocked.

Thanks, and I'm sorry I am so new to the Editor, but I don't get why FileZilla has no problem and this one does. Is there any way to use FileZilla instead of the "publish" routine in the Editor?

your firewall knows filezilla is ok automatically.it is used by everybody. it does not know dhe is.you could also try running dhe as administrator by right clicking on it and selecting run as administrator.might work might not, easier to make a rule in firewall imo--assuming that the firewall is the problem

you can use filezilla after exporting but you don't want to..let dhe do it's magic.much simpler and dhe keeps track of changes unlike filezilla
