But these examples doesn't work on Opera and NS 4...

Check this out too: Ferant DHTML Studio ( http://www.ferant.com/index.aspx?item=download oppure http://www.webattack.com/get/ferantdhtml.html )
Entirely written in html and javascript, generates very nice and compatible js/dhtml floating windows. The Lite edition is free.
