it's funny...it does work ok in vista..but not the whole thing :) sounds wierd..ill explain everything
i installed it on Vista Ultimate x64, worked ok until restart. After restart the memory and net usage monitors worked fine, CPU and Disk Usage...DEAD Even the cpu meter in the system tray was dead.
Ok, so i uninstall, reinstall the thing without a restart...everything is working again. close the meter, turn it back on...same thing..DEAD so i figure..too much hassle to install the thing everytime for the cpu and disk to work!i just left them like that until you can figure out the problem.
thanks in advance
oooo, by the way..checkpos working great.

Very strange, unfortunately actually I don't have a Vista system so I cannot test it accurately. I'll make tests asap!
In the meanwhile if you are able to find the problem please let me know!
Many thanks! |

i think it has something to do with User Account Control (UAC). I disabled it just to experiment with it and the meters are working again. Ill make some more tests just to be sure.

Ok, make this test for me:
1- download from my site the Setup Version 2- Install and use it; all should work ok because administrative right are required in order to install the program.
Let me know ;-) |

did the test...same thing.
i figured out the problem...it has something to do with UAC. when the thing is activated Performance Monitor performs as stated above. Turn it of...and you get a fully working Perfomance Monitor.
cheers

If you want I can send you a debug version so we can understand where the program hangs up, let me know |

I would appreciate the ability to chance how often Performance Monitor updates its info on each graph. It appears to be waiting several seconds before updating the tray icon, and I'd like it if I could get it to update every half a second if possible (the same as Task Manager). |
