Posted - 22 Jul 2004 : 03:12:20 Hi nando.
Perhaps you could be more specific and explain what you mean? It would make it easier to help you if I understood what you are doing to create the shadow effect that is not working.
In the meantime, we can review the process ...
I'm assuming that you are trying to create a shadow of text in a label control. If I'm correct, then you must invoke the properties editor by selecting the label control in question, then pressing "F4". You will see the properties list on the right side of your screen. Mare sure you have the right label control selected by looking at the value in the ID field at the very top of the properties list.
Assuming we're OK so far, then scan the list of properties to the 8th item "shadow". That properties item will let you set three values: 1) Angle of the shadow (in a pull down list); 2) Thickness of the shadow (in a pull down list); and 3) Color of the shadow (click the square to the far right of the shadow property item for bring up a color selection dialog).
A common error that user make is failing to notice that the default shadow thickness is set to 0 (zero - meaning NO SHADOW).
Follow these directions and you will find that shadowed text is a simple and very useful feature of Dynamic HTML Editor. If not, then please give us more specific information about what you're doing that is not working, and we'll take it from there.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Joe
