I ask for label. I create the label in a slot built with the rectangle tool. Labelxx is entered into the slot ok. I select the text editor and try to enter information containing spaces. The text editor displays vertical characters after each blank e.g. a b c is
a
b
c
a.b.c is a.b.c I had release 1.6 and I don't remember it doing this.
How do I use the new feature? Or what have I done wrong?

I did install over 1.6 in different directories. Removing both and reinstalling 1.7 did not help.
It turned out to be my stupid mistake. After I created the rectangel, I selected the Label tool, but did not create a label area inside the rectangle. Once I did that everything worked fine.

I suggest you to upgrade to version 1.7 and try again.
I've tried to enter a b c and all go ok. |
