For a customer i want the following: I design a website in DHE. Currently the customer wants to upload and maintain a photo collection in a nice viewer by himself weekly, so no DHE for the customer, only a link or whatever to log in and upload, edit and delete some photos. That ... viewer can in my opinion be provided in a DHE page in an iFrame. Does anybody have an idea to deliver this option? what viewer, how to use and maybe you have an example.. Thanks in advance for your answer and suggestion.

what about the image galleries in cpanel/softaculous or similar--coppermine comes to mind it has a login and is feature rich. It does not have to be installed via cpanel and is free

other examples are like this

I did the same thing for a client using Cushy CMS. I just added the extension Div Element 1.0 with the class="cushycms" id="gallery". Your customer can add as many photos as they want (vertical) providing you have no footer or elements below the cushy cms div element. Cushy CMS is a free content management system. http://www.cushycms.com/en
