Posted - 15 Jul 2008 : 23:18:22 Good evening everybody[3 :-z],
I've made a table in DHE (not for positioning but for a large quantety of numbers and text). Now I have to merge some cells from three to one cell (in one row) like you can do in excel. Is this possible in DHE? If yes, how? I could'nt find it [2 puppy].
Thanks

Posted - 20 Jul 2008 : 01:06:56 Another method would be to copy your Excel file, then in DHE paste the Excel file using "paste/special paste".In the properties panel dropdown for "This Page" select and delete the "Label". This leaves "Picture". Adjust and postion as desired. |

Posted - 18 Jul 2008 : 14:05:47 Thanks for the tip DrLondon[2 O-H7-O] (my "Dr." is comming from the Muppet Show [2 OOO] ; Yours?). I know that work around but as you mentioned, it's indeed a bit more work. And because the table has to be updated almost every day, I hoped their was an easier way. And Davide: No problem (and don't work to hard!)
Bye and happy weekend,

Posted - 16 Jul 2008 : 18:09:30 Hello DrBob,
If you know the trick in Excel, do it in Excel. - Then you can export it as a HTML-file (Use "File", "Save as ...". - After that you can import the html in DHE as HTML. Maybe a bit work a long way around, but maybe a solution.
I hope it helps you.
Bye, DrLonden. |

Posted - 16 Jul 2008 : 11:40:46 Is this in the planning for the nearby future or should a make a workaround (more tables with different colums)? The workaround means a lot more work for me (and I am a bit lazy.[3 :-z]). |
