Hello,

I have this fantastic software (DHE 3.3.26) for over 1 year and have built several websites of my own.
Now I have a problem with my first website I am making for a custumer - I hope anyone could help me with it.

My customer wants to print out the pages but the text formatting on the prints /and in the print preview) is not the same as on the page itself.
Some textblocks are not where they should be and some objects are missing.
On some computers the right 1/3 of the site is just cut.

Is there asolution within DHE to fix the problem ?
Please help me.

the test URL of the site is

http://www.schaaf-managementcoaching.de/test

Simple change the "Encoding" of the page in the Page Properties.

Hello Davide,

The UTF8 conversion does not always work for pages with text by German special characters. Can I use this in DHE Editor force? Some pages are o.K. Others are charset = ISO-8859-1 and will be on the wrong server. Subject version 3.x and 4.x

Many greetings

Hartmut

Maybe I missed something, but wasn't the customer having problems printing out the page. I was just checking to make sure it did print out right AND that the problem was their printer--plus!!!-- I got loads of ink and print very little that is not just text--it gives me an opportunity to get the inkjets moving a little

Make sure printer is set to "fit to page printing" in the preferences> page setup>"fit to page printing"----at least that is what it is called for my canon pixma printer..

This surely depends on the Printer driver not on the site.
You can try to re-design a test page using only "relative" positioned object: maybe this does the trick.
