I've done it tons of times in Dreamweaver (without quite knowing what I was doing)
Would someone PLEASE explain in great detail how to do this? Regards Samoht |

Posted - 27 Aug 2007 : 12:16:41 Hehehehe good one Jtarin[2 H:)].
But I agree with Toon on this. If this new version needs an upgrade fee or something I would be more than happy to pay it. Obviously within reason of course:-).
As soon as the new version is out I am planning to create some visual flash lessons. I've been given a program for this which is very handy and easy to usehttp://www.sameshow.com/demo-creator.html.
This way people can see how to use the Editor.

If you should charge a (little) fee for the update that's fine with me.
Yes if you should charge TOON a (little) fee we wouldn't mind. |

Posted - 23 Aug 2007 : 12:26:00 Great news about the master page feature. That has been one of the reasons that I have not done so much work with D.H.E. recently. That should loads pages much faster. Yippeeeeee!!!!! |

Posted - 16 Aug 2007 : 11:08:38 The next version will have a tool called "Master-Page" that will permit you to create a common container for the pages of your site ;-) |

Posted - 16 Aug 2007 : 10:58:36 AND it just works plendidly. I belive I just forgot the "ADD" button in Petrans step 11.
It's simply the most elegant way to build a small websight with only one main page.
THANKYOU ALL |

Posted - 16 Aug 2007 : 08:25:52 Please see the reply from "petran"; his answer is ok. In order to load an IFRAME using a link simply create the IFRAME then when you create links use the "Target Frame" property chosing the IFRAME. |

Posted - 15 Aug 2007 : 23:57:39 Hi Petran I'm really quite sure I tried this but nothing happened when i pressed the button. Just now my PC is down (CPU) but it's up again tomorrow morning (hope) and I'll try to follow your guide then.
I Hope you'll follow up if I mess around. |

Posted - 14 Aug 2007 : 15:36:10 Samoth,
1. Make a new page 2. By generic object choose I-frame en draw your frame. 3. Click "cancel" when the popup opens. 4. Give your I-frame a name in the properties window at the right. 5. Make your button by choosing it in the input controls at the left or use an image as a button. 6. In the properties window go to "events" and click the tree dots... 7. Choose under "events" onclick and under "action" link 8. click on the apearing button next to link. 9. In the popup choose the page you want to appear. 10. Choose in the list "target frame name" at the right bottom corner your I-frame. 11. Click ok, then click "add" 12. Repeat step 5 to 10 for every next button. 13. Smile.
Hope I didn't forgot a step. (I did, added step 11) If you are using an image as button you can directly choose for "link" in the properties window. |
