Very nice ...
Desktop Mangers are squirrelly, some are overly rudimentary, some rather complicated (PowerPro), many meant for lots of flash and dash, many pricey.... all I wanted was to simplfy nicely my taskbar, which gets far too crowded on my XP system, even with two levels
.... so far so good. Maybe later I will want more flash and dash and sophistication.. not now, and I gather you are adding a bit.
SUGGESTION
"Desktop 1" "Desktop 2" etc REALLY need the ability to be replaced with User-Defined Names
(eg. Web Dev, Techie, Office, Browsing..)
GETTING SYS TRAY STUFF OUT
Since this makes the Taskbar MUCH more usable, can you do or recommend
1) method of getting programs from SysTray to TaskBar (sometimes in the program config/options ? Is there a general way? )
2) methods of adjusting the text/size situation WITHIN the Taskbar.. eg. some keep the Program Name, some the Webpage you are looking at, etc.. IS there any techie control of this ?
Similarly I will probably get rid of the lefthand Quick-launch area too, and I would add similar questions to the SysTray Area.
Maybe you could point to somebodies tutorial on this stuff ?

thank you for the suggestions...
Now EVD in not a very good program and has a lot of know bugs;
I have a long to-do list but no time  .
I'm thinking to release EVD as a Open Source Software over SourceForce site
