Hi,

I experienced the following problems using the performance monitor:

1. When first starting performance monitor, it asks me:

"CPU Performance Counter is disabled, enable it now?"

I click "yes" - and the program is running nicely.

But after rebooting, the counter checkbox is popping up again. But not always, just sometimes.

Is there a way to fix that so that the performance counter is always running?

2. I selected the option "not always on top". But after rebooting, perf mon seems to have forgotten about that. After switching it back manually, it works fine.

Could you think of a reason why it does that?

Thanks a lot,
Cunni

1- maybe you have some other programs that reset the performance counters
2- same as above, please check your antivirus/firewall or antispyware programs, I suppose one of them is blocking the changes made by my program.
