Is it possible to publish to a local machine, so I can have a browser render the pages (using IIS?). I need to be able to see the links, etc. in action before I do a remote publish.

Hello rmmarsh,

After export, a simple double click on the xxx.html in explorer will open the file in your browser.
If you make links like: "http://www.xxx.com/otherpage.html" it won't work like that. If you make your links like: "otherpage.html" it will work on your local machine.

Bye,
Londen.

Hello Jan, I didn't think we had a choice on the links... when I create the links, I click on "Files on Internet" and I get the filename.dhe, which gets translated to the "http" format... how do I make the links relative rather than absolute?

If you name a file in a project "xxx", it will appear as "xxx.dhe" in DHE. If you export it, the file is called "xxx.html" (or htm, you can choose that.)
I you make a link in another page to "xxx", just type "xxx.html" in the field for the link, and there you are. If it is pre-filled, just remove the rest, things like "http://et cetera"
If DHE says something like "This does not appear a internet link, ignore it.

Bye,
Londen.

I think it is safe to say that it will not be released any later than it has to be. He said in 04/14-- second post

http://www.hexagora.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1325&SearchTerms=4.2

"You are right, fixed in version 4.2 that will be released very soon.
Many thanks, if you have other tips like this let me know".

I have been waiting myself as I am sure everyone has. If he had a specific date in mind I think he would have said it on the 14th or today. I think we all know what very soon means--It means not very long..

Why not just get a free host and test it there. I recommend..[linux or windows]
