Did the "check for updates" - nothing there! (except templates, etc). |

I've just created an extension that you can use to simply put a .svg file into your page ;-)
Check it out using the "Check for Updates" menu item. |

How? If I take a picture object and open it, the file types do not list .svg... so I changed it to all files, selected my .svg file and promptly got a message about the size being so small that it was "blocked". Tried to edit the size of the object, but the height and width were disabled. |

You cannot create .svg files in DHWE but you can embed them in pages you create with the program |
