Is there a way to assign a SUBMIT button type to a .gif button image in v1.8? |

I think that this doesn't work. You have to create an HTML box with the code required for creating the submit button |

Well, I created a SUBMIT button and gave it the Hidden attribute. Then I placed it in front of the .gif button image so when the user clicks on the .gif image, they will actually click on the invisible SUBMIT button. I haven't tested it yet, but I hope it will work :) |
